Races in Greece 2026: the updated calendar
Bib2Bib brings together races in Greece across several sports and links each listing to the official or closest available primary source. The calendar is curated and continuously updated; it is not presented as an official or absolutely exhaustive list of every event.
Why there is no single official calendar
Greek races are published by federations, organisers, municipalities and event platforms. Bib2Bib unifies discovery while keeping the provenance of every listing visible.
A race date, location or format should change only when a newer documented source supports the update. A listing without sufficient confirmation must not be presented as certain.
Road races
The official SEGAS public-road calendar lists, among other events, Run Greece Trikala on 20 September, Run Greece Alexandroupoli on 27 September, Run Greece Piraeus on 4 October and the 43rd Athens Marathon on 7–8 November 2026.
SEGAS is a primary source for the events it covers, but its page alone is not a catalog of every independent road or trail event in Greece.
Triathlon and multisport
The Hellenic Triathlon Federation describes its 2026 competition programme as dynamic and says it may be expanded as additional events are confirmed.
Bib2Bib therefore stores the sport, format, individual leg distances and last-checked date separately. Sprint, Standard, Middle, Long, aquathlon and duathlon must not be merged into one generic distance filter.
Open-water swimming
The Hellenic Swimming Federation open-water agenda covers federation competitions. On 31 August, it listed the National Masters Championship for 25–27 September while the location was still marked as awaited.
That location remains unconfirmed and must not be filled through inference. Mass-participation open-water events run by independent organisers are a separate data stream.
Cycling and brevets
Brevets Greece publishes its 2026 programme and links individual events to their organisers.
The official site also warns that routes may change before race day. Route facts and maps must therefore be rechecked with the organiser rather than reproduced as permanent details.
